Operation
Two options of operation can be applied :
Screw compactor
The screw Compactor is mainly composed of a thick steel shafted spiral, driven directly, which rotates inside the cylindrical compacting zone where the screening to be compacted is conveyed. A mild wear helical brush placed on the spiral assures the cleaning of the filtering zone. The compacting zone is equipped with spray nozzles washing the organic substances contained in screening. The compaction exerted by the spiral dehydrates the screening, which is conveyed to the outlet through the transporting pipe.
The liquid produced by compaction and washing goes back to the purification process through the screening channel. It is possible to combine the shafted compactor with every kind of screens. The different models of the shafted compactor can be adapted to the client’s requirements thanks to its real versatility.
